YNISH “luv hack”

There's plenty of artists that we've gotten to know and love over the last year - one of which has been the super talented YNISH (read as wai-nish), who represents Dreamify Records (an independent record label/collective based in The Philippines).

Back in October, she released the second instalment to her Grapheme Color series, which was a host to five songs, and featured singles such as “Dead Or Alive”, “OCEANPEARL” and “convenient” (all of which spent 8 weeks collectively on The Chosen Dozen).

If you're wondering what she's like in a live setting, back in December we invited YNISH to perform at our Beat This Alliance: Manila Connections Event in Uptown BGC, Manila and she delivered her tracks as if they were being recorded in the studio - on point! Now that we are fully settled into 2023, she took it upon herself to deliver her first release since dropping the EP back in October.

“luv hack” is a cry for just that, a hack, and a way to help you secure the crush that you've been chasing for the longest time. Lyrically, the story plays out effortlessly, and YNISH finds different pockets and flows in creative ways to deliver the narrative. Another thing you can expect to find are ear-worm melody's that will stay with you after the first listen.

With foundations of commercial pop production and an all-round general playful vibe, the single serves as a credible follow up to her previous work and is a note-worthy addition to a playlist best served for commuting, studying, or hanging with friends at a party!
