What’s up fam, we’ve arrived at another week, which means another episode of the best in Global Pinoy Music with your host Steph!
For this episode’s Chosen One, we’re putting the spotlight on Miami-based musician, Raquel Lily. We first caught wind of Raquel on Episode 50 of The Chosen Dozen when we played her song Come Thru.
She’s most known for her prominent presence on Twitch, and If you deep dive into Raquels socials, you’ll find a zest of life and high energy performances alongside her awesome band. For her most recent single, she teamed up with the band Buko Boys to deliver a soothing but playful tune titled Mactan Mood, which gives a nod to her Filipino heritage.
Congratulation Raquel Lily on becoming our Chosen One for this week, and a little heads up for fans, she will be performing on our Beat This Sessions Worldwide series in the coming weeks - so keep an eye out for that!
