Sin Santos

My 3-year journey as a recording artist has allowed me to cultivate relationships with different artists from around the world. Outside the Philippines, Australia has been a place where I have developed close ties. Australia's music scene is a diverse landscape of artists with different styles, with rap being a dominant genre. Here, we have 17-year-old The Kid Laroi spearheading the landscape for a new generation, together with Filipino rapper, Sin Santos.

I met Sin Santos, whose real name is Armando Sinatra, through an Australia- based management company I worked with. He was a clear stand-out to me in our talent pool. Aside from him being Filipino, he had a distinct image and diverse style which he showcased through his different tracks.

My introduction to Sin Santos music was through his track “Watch Me”, which made a clear statement: I'm someone you should watch for.

Going through his large catalog, you can see that this artist is not just a rapper, but a singer as well showing his melodic side through tracks like “Frenzy” and “No Games”.

After hearing those tracks and having access to Sin Santos's unreleased work, I couldn't help but listen to his demos. That's when I heard his latest track “OD”. Released on the 5th of February and produced by Speaker Bangerz, who has produced for artists like Quando Rondo, this track showcased just what an artist can do when you get them in their feelings.

Sin Santos is only getting started. His track record is a diverse pool of styles showcasing his range and creativity. This Filipino talent based in Melbourne is surely one to watch, and he already mentioned that he's dropping something big together with an up-and-coming young Cebuano Rapper to heat up the summer.
