“Don't stop, never stop and never quit. Being a Rapper and a songwriter is all about repetition the more songs you write, the better you're going to get, it's basically impossible to get worse. Don't be discouraged easily and make sure you are your biggest fan because if you don't like your own music why would others do?”

- Jimmy Pablo

Being at home can sometimes feel so cyclical and boring, with each day almost the same as the last. But what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be all boring? Music can lighten up anyone’s mood, set an atmosphere, and even remind many of us of the good old times. If you’re in the mood to decompress or just have a party in your bedroom, Jimmy Pablo and Zyme got you covered with their newest track "Hours"—a song that overflows with positive energy and an upbeat vibe that will have you partying in your room.

"Hours" reminded me of those late-night weekends spent with friends and those fun night drives. The song, to me, was also a great reminder to live in the now and enjoy the present. Sometimes we get too caught up in the past that we forget how amazing it is to be where we are right now.

You could feel the chemistry of the two artists, Zyme and Jimmy Pablo in "Hours" and you can just tell they've been long-time friends. This connection between the two artists is beautifully translated in the song as each verse flowed from another like butter. This bedroom pop song gave off a grungy feel thanks to Zyme’s vocals paired with Jimmy Pablo's skillful rapping. The sick beat is bound to give you some serious LSS! The duo shared how the song was inspired by Kid Cudi’s late 2000s hit "Erase Me". The band-on-tour vibe was nicely reflected by the cinematography used in their music video.

Filipino-American rapper and songwriter from San Francisco Jimmy Pablo has been in the music industry for over 6 years. What started as a hobby eventually becoming an entire career. He may serve as an influential model to many aspiring artists who also dream of turning their passion into a successful career. In 2019, Jimmy Pablo performed at WISH USA, and this year, he came back for an encore. He's made several notable collaborations with artists in the industry such as Acdmnd$, Raf Davis, Zae Zacarias. Zyme, DJ, Stello, and the Mango Room. The artist gained a whopping 20 million views on a collaboration with ACDMND$ also known as Ice and has been featured on multiple Spotify playlists including Fresh Finds Philippines and South East Sounds. Jimmy Pablo cites Big Sean as the most influential artist for his music.

“Big Sean would definitely be one of my most influential artists that affect my music. His topic about making it out and sharing his blessings with his close friends and family speaks to me the most. Currently, I am constantly inspired by other artists around me and I'm inspired by other arts that don't even have anything to do with music.”

See more of Jimmy Pablo in his upcoming collab songs with DZ SVG from Bawal Clan, Anjo from Australia, Ericmxxn from Canada, and another highly anticipated collaboration with ACDMND$. Stay tuned as Jimmy is set to release 2 new music videos for "Good Vibes" and "Say Less"!
