"Remember that you are right where you are supposed to be; don’t give up and remember to trust the process. Believe in yourself, you will reach your goals."

- Ashley Mehta

A romantic relationship can bring so much joy to someone. But, it appears to be hard to keep up with it these days, that being in a relationship has led most people adrift. It’s hard to fix what’s already broken and restoring it appears to be an overwhelming assignment. Yet, we need to understand that a relationship resembles a delicate bud that needs steady consideration, care, and love.

Hailing from the Bay Area, Filipino-Indian R&B and Pop artist Ashley Mehta just released her single titled "FEELS LIKE THAT" showcasing exciting and surprising melodies that go from a piano that never returns to vocals arriving on a strong 808. Its high energy is kept with the melodic switch-ups both vocally throughout the production.

That space of time we call "falling in love" we wish this energetic stage in our lives could keep going forever. "FEELS LIKE THAT” portrays a story of embracing both elevation and growth while being in a relationship. It talks about fixing and starting the relationship again rather than moving on and finding someone new.

Written by Ashley Mehta herself and produced by Rommii, the track is a lively combination of elements from R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and electronic music. Successfully capturing that iconic Bay Area vibe.

Ashley Mehta has been in the music scene for 4 years now, and according to her, some of her favorite experiences have been collaborations with other artists, live performances, the process of writing music, and all the people she's met along the way. She's listed artists like Kehlani, Kiana Lede, HER, and SZA as her musical inspiration. Ashley has been featured in Rolling Stones India's Global Artist Spotlight.

Ashley Mehta has only just begun but she's already blazing a trail in the Global Filipino music space. Make sure to support her in her socials and don't miss the music video for "FEELS LIKE THAT”!
