Annie Lux

Have you ever felt like you didn't matter to someone even after all the grand gestures and many attempts at intimacy? Like you were simply an option to them? If this is something you relate to, then Filipina-Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Annie Lux's newest single "OUT OF SPACE" is the anthem just for you.

"OUT OF SPACE" by Annie Lux, was inspired by a memorable night that started very chill, just hanging out with someone new but eventually ended with her sneaking out the back door when the guy gets a text from another girl.

"Out of storage space in my heart, delete the memory of what you meant to me, Out of storage space in my phone, delete the history of who you used to be."

Moments like these can bring so much emotion into art and music. The morning after that night, Annie Lux met up with her long-time friend and producer Alex Gordeev (aka Exale) who is a fellow Berklee College of Music alumni. The two have been collaborating since 2018. This candid moment led to a truly melodic hit.

Annie Lux lists great artists such as Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Rodney Jerkins (Darkchild), Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, and Brandy as her inspiration and influences. To no surprise, Annie Lux herself has been making great moves in her career. The "A-Side" which she worked on for the hit TV show "The Next Step", currently has 4 million views on YouTube. Together with multiple features on top Spotify playlists including Chillax Ka Muna which has over 1.2 million likes.

Tune in to more of Annie Lux's music showcasing a great mix of Lo-Fi, Electro, and Alternative R&B.
