Starting as a young musician and the lead guitarist at a church, the San Francisco-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Filipina-American Jenn Clemena has debuted her first single "A.A." which was released on the 14th of August 2020. At an early age, the talented artist learned how to play the guitar and learned it all by indulging her ears in genres like Gospel, Funk, and Jazz, which is all credited to the works of some artists that inspired her styles such as Stevie WonderAl Green, and Bobby Caldwell.

The artist indulges herself in a band of her local church group and was also able to showcase her talent busking in the streets of San Francisco. Being part of a religious family and also a part of the LGBTQ community the talented artist Jenn Clemena did not falter to manifest her own identity, in fact, she writes her song through her experience that reflects her true emotions and soul that enables her listener to fathom the real Jenn Clemena.

Her first-ever release "A.A." portrays a strong message that talks about anxiety, if you listen to her song you can see the acerbity in the lyrics that show her feelings of anxiety.

With the help of her band members, she came up with a guitar riff and the magic just followed,  “Chill/Laidback is definitely my style,” she said. With a sensitive and very meaningful lyrics to the song that can surely help anyone out there who is dealing with anxiety that brings hope, peace of mind, and healing.

It’s now for whoever is listening and for the first time I don’t have to feel it anymore.” Jenn Clemena is an artist who does not only make music for fun but an artist who is transparent to her experiences and motivates others that her music is not just entertaining but can also give us hope and healing.
